Magnetic Motion Capture, as its name it's accomplished by using magnetic technology, the whole system running its function by placing usually 6-11 sensors on the actor and utilize them to meature the low-frequency magnetic field that is generated by a transmitter source.

The sensor will report position and rotation in real time, Inverse Kinematics (IK) is used to solve the angies for various body joint. Main system record actor's body joints by collecting all this information.

However, this technology isn't very ready for application yet. It has several drawbacks fellow:

1.Sensitive to metal.
2.Limited range.
3. Sensors offet from actual joint centers.
4.Low sampling rate.
5.Encumbrance.
6.Latency.
7.Repeated re-calibration.
