1.Explain in your own words, Why do we use motion capture instead of doing hand/normal keyframe animations?

It is very hand to use hand animation to animate a good stuff. especially when the animation has the facial expression.But motion capture can do this thing in a easy way.That means to use motion capture can save a lot of time and doing the good work.

2.Explain in your own words,in 10 - 15 steps, how to put the suit on, adjust, configure, test, direct, record, convert, export and import motion capture suit & data.


Put the suit on:
1.Take the model with the suit to a big place very carefully
2.Ask the actor stand well.
3.Take the head suit and put it on to the actor's head and adjust the titanium that it can according to the actor's head.
3.One people need to holding the top suit during wearing time.After wear the top suit then we need to tie the belt, which is in front of the actor's chest.
4.Tying the belt to actor's hand.
5.Adjust the arm holder in the tight position.
6.Connect the titanium in the suit.
7. Connect the cables between the leg suit and the X-ist box.

Adjust:
1.Using the Screwdriver to adjust the screw that the actor can well comfortable.
2.Keeping two fingers space from the body by using the screwdriver.
3.Use the safety pin to connect the titanium between the head suit and body suit.


Configure:
Turn the process box bottom on and wait for 3 flash times which means collect to the data and ready to work.Then turn on the x-ist Box.


Test:
Open the VipperMaster program. after that to ask the actor do some action to test.


Direct& Record:
Ask the actor to to some stuffs you want.But during the action time need one more people to look care of the actor and the wireless.Then open the recorder program to record at least 3times.


Convert export and import motion capture suit & data.:
From ".xrc" file to "csm",then to the ".bi"file by using the 3dx.


3.Good and bad experience with the prosthetic motion capture suit/system.

Good experience:
I can tell to use motion capture suit will be very fun and easy to work with the animation. it can catch a lot of detail by use this suit and system.
Bad experience:
The motion capture suit really take a long time to wear. And for the actor is very hard to wear this suit for a long time to act ,to animate because its weight.

4.What are you expecting to see different or interested in the new system?
What i expect is , we can do some action with heavy suit but still can catch lots of details.
