1.Explain in your own words, Why do we use motion capture instead of doing hand/normal keyframe animations?
It's more convenient for people to animate the charactors and make the animation progress much easier.It is faster and saves time.
2.Explain in your own words,in 10 - 15 steps, how to put the suit on, adjust, configure, test, direct, record, convert, export and import motion capture suit & data.
- Explain details and use keywords
- gyro, system, suit, titanium, potentiometer , wires, cables, X-ist box, initialize, xrc, csm, bip, body fingure foot tests.
Step2. Connect the cables
Step3. Adjust the suit
Step4.Connect the wires
Step5.Turn on the X-ist box and turn on the switch on the suit and check to make sure it works
Step6. Body,fingers and feet testing and adjusting
Step7.Initialize
Step8.Record the motion and export as xrc format
Step9.Convert the xrc format to csm format
Step10.Import the csm to 3d max and convert csm to bip
3.Good and bad experience with the prosthetic motion capture suit/system.
Good experience:
*Portable
*Quick set up
Bad experience:
*The wire is annoying
*The steel bar will kill people and can be bend easily
*Can't hold parts of body
*It is heavy
*Parts wear down quickly
4.What are you expecting to see different or interested in the new system?
New equipments,easy to operate with the new system, more space,new technology
