  • How to Set up Character from Max > Motion Builder 
 make sure character is on T-position and the character is standing on the floor and the center of world


 turn off the figure mode and export as .fbx format 


  • How to Set up Character in Motion Builder > Motion Capture 
bring your .fbx file and texture in a folder,set a favorite path in the assets browser


device>drag om device on stage> online,live,recording > create a model binding > rename character and characterise


drag model on stage > rename--3d max biped temp, characterize > character input on model, and stance input on om, tick both live


device > recharacterise, reset tracking
