it is a system that to use human body and the facial to create the 3D, 2D games or 3D animation character. It also can use to data and movie.

2. Why do we use it? When do we use it over hand animating (cell animation)?

Normally if we use 3D max to animate the character need to use frame by frame to create the movement but if we use the motion capture we can animate more easily and make a more truly action like the real human process in 3d.

Eadweard Muybridge is a master of the photography. He used the images to create the illusion of movement

4. Who is Etienne-Jules Marey what is the connection with Zoetrope & Rotoscoping?

He started by studying blood circulation in the human body. And He records the bird’s wings flying movement or another animal. Also he made the movies, they were at a high speed (60 images per second) and of excellent image quality: in slow-motion cinematography, he had come close to perfection.
