1.Explain in your own words, What is motion capture?
Motion Capture is a machine can catch the actor body language and record it as data which can edit at computer. Motion Capture can be use at different industries such as film making, game design and medical treatment.
2.Explain in your own words, What is the connection between Zoe-trope, Rotoscope, Motion Capture
Zoe-trope
Zoe-trope is the oldest technique for catching the object motion. It is showed by many static pictures which change its position slightly. All the pictures will be consisted on the cylinder. When you rotate the cylinder, you can see the animation.
Rotoscope:
Rotoscope often use re-draw with drawing skill to show the action frame by frame and the timeline is by seconds. It was based on one and one picture to show the object action and connect them together as a complete animation or video.
Motion Capture
Motion Capture is a update of capturing movement. It use camera and light to record the actor’s movement and return it into digital data and send them into computer, which instead of using picture to record the movement.
It can catch much more detail from the actor even some exact position.
3.Choose a Game or a Movie and explain/ show videos, their motion capturing process, company name, year, clip.

Motion Capturing Process: use the MoCap suit with the rubber ball record all the movement from the actor.

4.List 4 Advantages & Disadvantages for your assigned motion capture suit & why would we use the motion capture suit

Advantages:
1.you can catch the movement as digital data for more detail like how the muscle move when it is doing some acting.
2. It is scalable that allow the actor do more different position
3.It allows for extensive after action review
4. you can catch the actual movement and watch the result data in the computer at the same time.
5. it is cheaper
Disadvantage:
1. It has a space limitation
2.It takes time to ready for the actor
3. Even it can catch most of the muscle acting but it still can’t accurate the data from the human being.
4. the equipments are not easy to transport.
Why?
Some exact position is really hard to animation just use some 3d program but using the Motion capture suit can more easy to animate the character we need. What’s more, it is more converted return the catching data into digital data in computer and editing the data. It allows to see the action review when it is collecting data.
