1.Explain in your own words, What is motion capture?

Motion Capture is the process of transferring the recorded movement into something that would be recognized by computer and then display the movement as a digital data.

2.Explain in your own words, What is the connection between Zoe-trope, Rotoscope, Motion Capture.
Both Zoe-trope and Rotoscope are the process of recording the movement in paper and make them turn over fast to make a video frame by frame.
All of them are the way of recording the movement and transfer into the format that are able to be shown again and again.

OPTICAL MOTION CAPTURE

Advantage:
* performers feels free to move because there's no cables around the body;
* large volumes
* allow more perormers
* clean & detailed data

Disadvantages:
* light interference
* the block of the information by the performer will cause of losing data
* must wear the suit with dots and balls
* the performer can't see their own performence

By using the Motion Capture Suit it makes the moves more realistic than manual animation in the game; it helps to show the impossible shots and actions in the film; it reduce the danger of the actors during their performance in the real environment.
