1. Explain in your own words, Why do we use motion capture instead of doing hand/normal keyframe animations?
Because Motion Capture will be able to catch more smoothly and nature movement than hand keyframe animations; and also reduced the cost for keyframe animations.


2. Explain in your own words,in 10 - 15 steps, how to put the suit on, adjust, configure, test, direct, record, convert, export and import motion capture suit & data.
(Explain details and use keywords gyro, system, suit, titanium, potentiometer , wires, cables, X-ist box, initialize, xrc, csm, bip, body fingure foot tests.)
1. get more than 3 people to help with puting the suit on because it is a bit heavy and any careless is dangerous, and it is easily to break the suit without people holding it while someone else is try to tight things up.
2. then upper body part first, the belt need to be tied around actor's chest while one guy's holding the gyro at the back.
3. adjust the length of the titanium while set up the suit around the elbows. the actor need to wear might need to wear long sleeve shirt to make sure it will be tight and not clutch the actor.
4. put the waist parts on and put the foot sensor behind actor's shoes and tight it with actor's feet.
5. adjust the potentionmeter and keep it 2 finger wide away from the actor's body.
6. connect the cables before turning on anything.
7. turn the x-ist box on.
8. turn on gyro.
9. keep the actor to stay still for half a minute and base on the light knowing that it is ready to capture.
10. record the movement as xrc (x-ist record file-maybe).
11. convert the .xrc file into csm and then .bip file using 3ds max 4.


3. Good and bad experience with the prosthetic motion capture suit/system.
Goods:
1. seeing how the animation been done by just moving around doing actions.
2. seeing the animation while making the movement.
3. the suit looks awesome.

Bads:
1. taking too long to set it up.
2. taking too long to take it off....the actor can't just go to have drink or go to toilet.
3. have to be careful cant really do any action.
4. too heavy to carry.
5. some movement like while the actor is trying to touch his face, it never captured the right thing.

4. What are you expecting to see different or interested in the new system?
1. lighter.
2. easier.
3. faster.
4. smarter.
